Tomtom Start 25 - Speed Camera warnings stopped

I was driving this morning where there are many cameras and all was working fine. Then I got to an area where I know there are cameras. No warning. Carried on driving to another area where there is one camera on a hill. Nothing.

I got home and found there was an update which I have done, but now I have no way to find out if it is working. My subscription is active and the Alerts are showing on the screen.

Would they stop working just because I needed an update. I last updated on Jan 7th.

On Start 25 speed cameras are installed on the map, so if you have an active subscription you should always receive alerts
Check that your speed cameras are not disabled in the settings.

Already checked that. Definitely enabled. If I log in to my Tomtom account, it said "Update" next to the cameras. So I did that through My Drive Connect. Now on my account is says Install? In My Drive Connect, it shows the Cameras as Active and Up to date.

To check for speed camera alerts, plan a route that includes speed cameras, then on the GPS menu, click play route preview.

I did that, and played route preview, although I don't have a GPS menu that I could find. No cameras show

To try Press the on/off button until you hear the sound of the tamtam and the device restarts.

If always the same

If no speed camera is displayed on the GPS
go to Mydrive connect, delete the speed cameras then reinstall them.

When you say GPS, do you mean on the screen itself? If so, yes the camera sign is there in Green.

Tomtom Support tell me that Speed Cameras should be updated every week, so it had been a month since I updated. Still don't see why that would make it suddenly miss, but will have to take it for a drive and see.

Strange even without updating the radars you should always receive the alert there is only if you connect to Mydrive connect that possibly can remove the radars installed on the GPS.

Well, Willy, I would like to thank you very much, because I went back to the car and planned a route to the nearest camera, let it do the demo which took about 10 minutes and bingo, the camera went off, so I think it's working!! Also, that was one of the cameras that didn't work when I came home. Maybe a glitch because I hadn't updated for a while. Who knows!!
