Issues/problems/concerns with the 890 map

It's my understanding it takes a Navcore 9 version to run the 890.4222 map.
The latest version for the 930 and many other models is 9.430

Apologies for not having replied before.

After installing the above CAB files I was able to operate the device.
I could use HOME2 although, no matter what I tried it would always open up in the Europe map and I had to switch maps but I was then able to complete the second half of installing the POIs for locations and reserved Motels for out 18 day trip 2 days later.

Apologies again, particularly since your posting of the Link allowed me to use the 930 on the trip. What with constant changes on the fly and SWMBO refusing to touch any GPS the Bluetooth remote was a real time saver.

Did you by chance use the same email address for the new Nav3 device as you once used for an older Nav2 device that used Home 2??

Never saw your post as we had taken off that morning and by then were somewhere around Fort Wayne, IN.

For anyone happening upon this thread, no, I used a gMail address for one and my Sympatico address for the other.
