Strange behaviour after trying to change to accept toll roads

Hi, I purchased in Nov 2020 in the UK a TomTom Go Premium 5" (Device ID number as ZR2339I0184)

Its been working fine then this week when I tried to make a change to allow toll roads some strange things happened!

1) it didn't appear to accept the command (several attempts made)
2) it 'lost' my location for a period
3) once recovering, the arrival time shown was hours in error (eg 5 mile journey shown as 14 hours)

I tried the soft reset (power off and switch on holding the power button until the drum roll) and it appeared to start fine - then the screen 'jumped' several times and a recurrence of 2 and 3 above.

I was in the EU at the time and for expediency swapped to a spare I carry.

Once home, I tried the misbehaving device again and it initially appeared to be working ok for normal rural roads - but then I noticed the arrival time was once more hours in error.

Is there anything else I can try before a 'hard' reset - and, if not, please tell me how to do that.

Any help /guidance welcome please

Hi

Yes, you can try resetting the device to factory settings
Select Settings, then select Reset device.

Before resetting the device, connect your GO to your Mydrive account.
