XL2 IQ Autoroutes Edition question

Hi!

I have very recently bought a TomTom XL2 IQ Autoroutes Edition to replace a stolen TomTom 520.

I currently think it is an absolute crock of $#!? as the car charger broke 1st time it was used and I cannot find any way to give the Lat. and Long. of a location I need to get to. I know it is on an unnamed road and the post code is for a collection office in the local town so Lat. & Long. are the only option.

HOW DO I INPUT LAT. & LONG.???

The version 2 models have the 'Easy Menu' which means 'simplified' or 'dumbed down'. Many features are missing from the series 2 models. Any way to return it?
