Hello. I have set my tomtom in Settings to avoid unsealed/unpaved roads, yet today it took me down one instead of a nearby sealed road that would have taken me to the same destination. How do I inform TomTom of this error? Thank you. Paul.

It's not easy to sort out problems with road classes in the map reporter.

If you will supply me with the coordinates of the location where you were asked to join the unpaved road section in question (or can describe it otherwise in a manner in which I can find it), and tell me the route direction of travel from that point, I can have a look at it for you to see if the road type is as you suspect or whether there is another issue.

Hello. Thank you for replying. There's a 2-3km portion of Stumpy Gully Road, between Graydens Road and Mornington-Tyabb Road, in Moorooduc, Victoria, Australia, that is unpaved/unsealed, but TomTom took me down it even though I have activated 'avoid unpaved' roads in Settings. I was using my TomTom to drive from High Street, Hastings to Mornington. Kind Regards. Paul.

The road is a gravel road
from -38.26427 , 145.12721 till -38.2836344483868, 145.12719024778607

Interesting that the north section is paved, and the south section is not.

@Niall
Thanks for taking care of that. Your time zone gets you up earlier than mine!

Than you kindly
It is a shame we can't report changed or incorrect road surfaces directly on a TomTom screen in the same way we can instantly report an incorrect or changed speed limit. Still, TT is a great gps service.
