Yes it was. But it was a review written by a person who had been testing that particular unit for three months and who's opinions I trust. And after the initial review post, there were three more pages of discussion about it.

I had one for a while too, and I thought much the same about it as Darren did.

The vast majority of problems people have with updating maps or software tend not to be model specific anyway.

My go 520 gave up the ghost and i must repalce it but iwant one with the fm transmitter and lane guidance any ideas

You'll be looking for a second-hand unit or a different brand... no current TomTom models have it.
