I found 2 adapters that might work.
Motorola Model: FMP5202A originally for Motorola phone.
Input:100 -240 V.~ 50-60Hz, 0.15A
Output:5V=850mA
Sunny Computer Technology Co. Ltd
Model: SYS1193-1005-W2 orignally for Jazz video camera
Input:100-240V-0.3A MAX
20-30VA, 50-60Hz
Ouput: + 5V ==== 2.0A
Output Power : 10W MAX
They seem both to be right size to fit.
Will either one work and if so, which one is better to use ?
Thanks.

An AC adapter will charge it faster. (about the same as when in a car)
I do have a TomTom AC adapter with an output at 1.0A but you should be able to use any AC adapter that's appropriate.
The input specs for my AC adapter say: 100~240V~/0.2A
Output: +5V and 1.0A but the unit can take 1.2A anyway. Even up to 2A
