No. It will not convert or play MP3s. If you try his it will ock up your mediacenter software on your PC/Laptop and if you try to drag and drop an MP3 to the tomtom it will be listed as a playable item but will not play.

thanks for testing. Yeah, I've tried converting and it failed. I've loaded it onto my TT but it didn't show up in the menu. I haven't tried loading it to the video folder. Is that what you did when you said it'll list but not play?

Drag and drop to the video folder and it shows up on the menu. Won't play though. If you put it in the Audio folder... nothing on the menu.
