I think he DLed 7.48 but did not install it!
This is why the VR still works.

Would TTHome (if that is what the poster used to get the 'Contents of My Go') show 7.48 if indeed it wasn't installed? I can understand TTHome showing 7.48 as being store on the computer.

Also, not being 100% clear where the information came from, I felt it possible that the tap of the satellites showed 7.48.

Obviously, I was somewhat confused (again ).

Here is what I noticed after I did the update:

I lost the VC. Used the "Copy the old ASR folder back to TT and VC worked only half way! By half way I mean it would let me say the "City" but not the "Street"! Very strange.

If I changed the address state to New York it worked as normal, if I changed the address state to California it stopped working.

Anyone else try this.

I went back to my backup and all is well again. I hope that this issue is resolved.
