I think your maps are corrupt.
Try this:
- Backup your device (always) using TomTom Home (make sure you're logged in)
- delete the application and maps from your device using TomTom Home.
- Update your device, but only choose to update the application (ignore the maps)
- Once the application is installed, update again, and this time update the maps.
This is a posibility, however if this doesn't work you're going to need to call support and stick it out as it's possible that you'll need to get your TomTom replaced...
