Disconnect properly using Home, unplug and plug it in and allow Home to update that firmware. You may need to do this in a couple of passes as Home suggests more recent versions. 8.550 is quite a bit down-rev, and frankly, if you have updated your unit previously, probably isn't even compatible with your currently installed bootloader - which at some level, needs to match your new firmware. Home should bring you up to 9.061, as I recall.
