Tomtom GO 720 red x error

I have put it on the 2 hour charge before trying to reset ….tom tom is new it was easy to set up and get started and today we tried it and got the x and !

What is the serial number because GO 720 is no longer updated by Tomtom.

The only thing you can do is to reinstall one of your old backups that is on your computer.

Bought 1st July’ this year all fine then we have not used it and as we are off to France next week we plugged it in and then found the x and !

What is the exact model of GPS do you have?

if possible give the first two letters of the serial number.

Because a GO 720 is no longer available for sale as new.
