Start 25

I had a lot of trouble downloading latest maps to my new Start 25. I have an Apple Mac and even after downloading the right link it would still not download. The answer was to use Firefox (and not my Safari) then its easy. To temporary get round the "no valid GPS signal" turn off the sat nav until the drum roll.

You don't say which firmware you have now, but yes, for the 'problem' version, it requires a full drum reboot each time you want to use the unit. However, in addition to maps, you should be offered the newer firmware that does not require this. According to the "Me and my device" page on your Start 25, what firmware do you have now?
