I would call CS and reset your account to a new email address besides registering the maps for the new unit.

Home 2 and MyTomTom CAN both reside on the same computer, though. Some people have active units on both platforms so require it.

What if you want to update the 540? What would you use then? I'd reinstall Home 2 just in case.

I will do that... when I update the 540... MyTomTom kept failing at random %'s until I removed Home2 and set the Port in MTT to 4001 (which could have been the real fix).
