Possible to delete sample songs?

Use Explorer, go to the mp3 folder, find our file listed and delete it (or them).

If it was that easy, I wouldn't have came here. I used that method and the only songs I can find is the ones I have put in. However, for whoever has an issue with this, you need to 'unhide' the folders and files, and to do this go to tools > options > view.

In this way I can delete it, there was nowhere else, TomTom HOME was unable to do it. This is the only method.

Remove Sample Songs

I had difficulty deleting the sample songs from my tomtom. I had loaded my MP3's on an SD card and deleted all from the internal memory. But the samples remained "somehwere". I ended up deleting the MP3 file from the internal memory. Made another PM3 file (empty) just to keep it available. Now all the sample songs are gone.

You should've unhidden it like I did, I deleted the audiobooks too, annoying stuff I did not need.

I'm a bit late - but, as I recall, yes, TT for some reason actually sets the HIDDEN bit on some of its files. You can use Explorer and then RightClick and PROPERTIES and tic one of the boxes that says hidden. You can also "see" the hidden files - they are somewhat translucent when using explorer to see a folder.
