What you can do is remove your GPS from your Tomtom account and then perform a factory reset.Thanks for this, I can do that on the 550, but wanted to delete, looks like "hide" is the only option.

I have a 550. Utterly useless at adding existing poi's. I tried everything. Why oh why can't you just copy them like in the old days. All these fooking useless apps. Waste of time. I cannot get poi's of my pc onto my device. Sadly I feel I have to go buy a competitors product that is easy to do this with. Pain in the arse. Don't waste your time.It's just a question, is it a 550 rider to buy new or a rider to buy used?
