so just like Microsoft and Google, it is left to the customer to do the testing. Back when I was a software quality assurance manager in the defence industry, a GOOD organisation was expected to spend 50-60% of the project time on testing. Poor organisations just rushed to get the product out of the door

Camper Max is preinstalled with custom POI's and tomtom once in a while gives updates to this custom POI. You can download and install these custom POI from the update section on the device.

Via plan.tomtom.com you can sync your own specific POI and favorites.

By definition TT cannot install a Custom POI, only pre-defined POIs.
Those recent devices as mentioned by @canderson that still allow custom POIs permit a maximum of 5 Categories on the device at anyone time.
If one want to display a 6th, one of the 5 installed ones must be removed first.

No need to remove them, Arno. You just can't choose to display more than 5 at a time.
