Either add it as a Favourite or add it to a Custom POI category (assuming your device supports the full POI options). Note if the location isn't near a road the device won't be able to Navigate to it - Mike

You can save it as a favourite. Current location.

Just remember, when it comes time to the renaming screen, if you give it a name, no address will be shown on the map. So rename with the addresss first.

Also, you can pick current location for a place off the roads that are mapped BUT you won't be able to Navigate to that point. You'll get a 'No route found' error. So you'd want to save the location at the nearest roadway.

Being a new user of TT GPS (used to own a Garmin) Just want to confirm one thing on favourite.. After reading some postings, looks like the favourite will be erased everytime when the map is upgraded. Is this the case ? If so, will it be better off just to put it in a custom POI folder ? What is the advantage of putting a location in favourite vs. a POI folder ? Just want to start putting my favourite locations in a safe and portable file.
