Map Updates

I currently have a GO620.
I notified TomTom Mapshare over 6 months ago about a new road having opened in the town I live in.
The Mapshare acknowledged that they had checked and thanked me for the update.
The new road appears in the TomTom MyDrive app but after numerous Map and Software updates on my device it still shows no road open.
Is this something that Tom Tom is working on as both Garmin and Google Maps have updated ages ago.

If the route is displayed on Mydrive, it means that the route will be updated on the GPS either with the next update of the map version 10.40 or 10.45.
