Map off - Possible photo'?

Hi - Is it possible to have a single photo showing instead of the black screen when the map is switched off?

I realise the slide show option could be used by having a single photo' but I want to keep it as a slide show

What are you hoping to accomplish by doing that? When you turn the device off, it no longer sends power to the screen.

Only want to turn off the map, not the sound i.e. photo' instead of map

Sorry but it's been years since TomTom produced a product that could act as an image viewer.

Now I'm confused as the system included in my new car includes a slide show facility with own photo's

Don't know anything about Carminat but, based on TomTom's 'cards to the vest' attitude, would not be surprised if both applications are mutually exclusive.
