having trouble finding a standard card, will a 4gb sdhc class 4 or 6 work ok ?.
Or can you say were i can buy a standard card.

SDHC cards are not meant to be used in that model.

When Andy nexts posts here, he may have a link for you to try a regular SD card.

Hi andy,
update on sd cards, have found site on e-bay that sells 4gb sd cards (non hc) for tomtom and garmin units, or so they say. For £8.50.. Amazon also sell these cards for £4.80.

HI ANDY, HAVE JUST GOT A 4GB SD CARD FROM WWW.BESTMEDIA.DE WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO WORK IN A TOMTOM 710, HAVE COPIED IT FROM TOMTOM CARD TO NEW CARD BUT STILL WILL NOT RUN NEW CARD YET ALL FILES HAVE COPIED OK ONTO NEW CARD,? ALSO HAVE TRIED TO GET PGPSW TO LOAD SOUND ALERTS ONTO TOMTOM HAVE GOT CAMERAS ON BUT STILL NO VOICE ALERTS HAVE DOWNLOADED TOMTOM OV2, SPEED ZONED COMPLETE, NO VOICE PACT REQUIRED.
IS THERE A WAY TO REMOVE THIS DOWNLOAD FROM THE TOMTOM AND START AGAIN ?
