LE update issue - (thread from another forum)

I just got an LE...doing a backup and not sure if I should hit the update button.

I have 7.11 and it seems to be working fine...leave well enough alone??

Mine had the issue where it worked for about an hour then wouldn't lock signal. However, I updated to the latest version from the Tomtom application and the unit has been rock solid ever since.

I've read that 7.11 basically doesn't work on the LE and that you should upgrade as soon as possible. This is what I've read but it must be flakey since yours seems fine for now.

That's what I figured - working in IT, I know the first thing is upgrade. And that seems to be working perfectly for the LE. I wonder how many of these "defective" returns simply require an OS upgrade?

Either way, it's working fine now and that's all that matters!
