Is it possible to restore all files on XL 340s Special Addition

Somehow I have managed to mess up some of the files or folders on my TomTom One xl 340s Special Edition. I have never backed up my files . I have tried restoring the firmware thinking maybe that would work but sadly didnt. Everything is fine except now I cant get my computer voices that announce street names to work. If anyone has any idea...im up to suggestions. Email me at (e-mail address removed)

Try a reset on the unit (holding the power key for about 15 seconds) and see whether that fixes the computer voice issue.
