Imported Go 730 from the US

I have just received a used Go730 from the US. Obviously I want to use it in the UK but it has the US Maps on it. Can I wipe these and put UK maps on it and if so do I have to purchase them?

Yes you can delete the US map (or copy it to the computer) and yes, you do have to purchase the UK map.
