A update on the Sleep Function problem

The latest software update would seem to have addressed the problem

I believe the version number is 24.200.0012

It was issued for the GO Expert Plus, GO Superior, GO Exclusive, GO Navigator (7"), GO Camper Max (2nd generation)

Would be nice if .0012 took care of this, but I don't think so.

Keep us posted on your ongoing testing.

It’s now 24 hours since I did the soft ware update So far it does seem promising

Does the device have access to a WiFi connection where it's presently located? Did it have a WiFi connection when it went into 'sleep' mode?

Yes it located close to my router which is on 24/7
and yes it was connected when it was put into Sleep Mode

Just a update... over the last few days I have been testing the latest firmware on my Go Superior. I am pleased to report that I haven't experienced any loss of traffic data when the device was placed in Sleep mode with WiFi connected. Also, there doesn't appear to be any excessive battery drain. Very pleased that these issues appear to have been resolved with this latest firmware.

It would seem that the latest update has put to bed the long standing Sleep function problems

Sinice I updated on 20th August the sleep function has operated correctly

Shame it took TomTom to solve a known issue
