Go 920 after update becomes Go 530?!

Still not found time to call support, but I can rule out the serila number theory. Went to this page:
TomTom, portable GPS car navigation systems - Support home - Select your product
(found under "what device do I have")
and the result was a 920 +4GB

Hopefully useful ammo if when i get on the phone

Let us know what happens - Tomtom may have the serial number right on their website, but you never know if the bootloader has a bad lookup table.
