Display hard to see in daylight

My VIA52 seems to work fine but the display in day light is very hard to see. I have turn the brightness right up any suggestions please?

Difficult to see

Hi Have a TomTom rider550 and is difficult to see the screen with sun glare and reflection that is so bad it like looking in a mirror. I have a Sunshade and even made it deeper but still horrible reflections. Any advice would be appreciated.

It’s as bright as it will go it’s like the screen is faulty and you can just about see it in doors it fine.

The Via 52 is a fairly old device. Can we assume you've had it for a while? Is the issue with visibility something new, or something you've experienced with this unit since it was new? Again, there's an issue of whether the screen is still as bright as it is supposed to be, or whether you're getting a lot of screen glare. On their best days, my devices are all easier to read when I'm not wearing a light colored shirt that's being reflected back in the screen!

It was given to me 2 days ago so I guess that’s why.

I’m very disappointed with my TT VIA52 p satnav. The screen display cannot be seen when it’s sunny. I mounted it on Mike motorbikes and was useless. Can anything be done ?
