hi im new here and i wonder if you can help me i have a go 5100 i have had it since it came out last week all of a sudden no sound no spoken directions no drum roll when i turn it on everything else works i can connect it to my computer just no sounds ive reset it updated it still nothingAgreed, no WiFi (that would be the 5200), but the 5100 does have Bluetooth. That's what it uses for connections for traffic, safety cams, and the 'TT cloud' through the MyDrive phone app. TomTom uses the really basic SPP (Bluetooth Serial Port Profile) between the device and phone app. Originally (late 2013?), this allowed the user to get around any phone 'tethering' issues with cellular providers that either didn't allow it, or charged big money for it.
