Back-up to a different HD Destination

I have a TT XXL540M. The TT Home 2.8 has a back up feature that I can back up my TT. But it will save the back up file in my computer hard drive. I want to save it to my other hard drive (stand alone). How can I change the destination in TT Home software so it will save the back up to my stand alone HD)?

By NOT using Home's backup/restore function at all. Use Explorer (or Finder, if a Mac) instead. See here:

(just exchange C:\ for the letter represented by your external drive)

You can remap the folder path in Home to use a different drive letter, fire up Home then click Tools/ Home Preferences then select the "Folders" tab.

To be honest I would stick with using Windows Explorer/ Finder for Back ups as Home is next to useless IMHO - Mike
