I just noticed that in the latest application (9.465) and map (900), alphanumeric addresses are supported on the GO930 and GO740.
So it looks like TT enabled this feature on old devices after all (any device that supports IQroutes).
I assume Kim's GO720 will now work once updated to map 900.
