does anybody know how long a new builld estate or road takes to appear on a map as ive had over a years maps and some local new build still not appearing

As others have commented....years

My street have been paved for 9 years. TT still has it blocked as gravel road.

I've long since given up with doing the...... notify error thing

At least your road exists. TT doesn't 'block' a road when it isn't paved. Only a user can decide to do that. Here in Colorado, that would make getting around quite impossible!

I wouldn't say years, cause I reported some of the roads around my neighborhood like about 2 years ago, and I keep on reporting it every map updates and it shows up now, but only some.
It really depend on how many people report that error and how tomtom handle it

"sorry"....wrong wording....on my part.

Still , one must wonder how long will it take to rectify the obvious. It's not like
the company doesn't own an actual "raw" mapping generating division. Similar
to producing automobiles with [minimal] no knowledge of the combustion engine.
