You cannot use this map on this device USA and Canada 27

Hi:

Getting "You cannot use this map on this device: USA_and_Canada-27 after updating application from 8.352 to 9.430 downloading via home from TT. although updating map as well the map version remained the same, 825.2159.
Please help.

If a map was downloaded, it should be found in compressed format here:

c:\documents and settings\yourname\my documents\TomTom\Home\Downloads\Complete\Maps\

and you can try to install it manually. See here:

The location you mentioned does not have the "map" folder.

There is a foldar in that location that reads "9.430.1-2008.go.CAB-navcore-GO.cab" after that is when I'm getting the error code.

I've deleted everything from the unit internal memory and reloaded the factory files from a windows back-up. That is the only way I can get the unit going.

What you refer to should be in the c:\documents and settings\yourname\my documents\TomTom\Home\Downloads\Complete\Program\ folder.
