Trip to California

Well I am an owner of a 510 after owing a Go300.
I used to live in California in the late 70's and have never been back since.
The map I have is supposedly the lastest map as it was from a 510 US model.
Wel it's not a bridge in Long Beach is not a toll bridge for 4 years now! But TT says it is. And a few other roads are not in the tt map. So I have been reading this stuff for 3 years now so either TT sels ols for new or they should get tele atlas to get on the ball. Where as The Italian map of Rome has been updated with the news round abouts.

Like I said in the other topic, TomTom is not fully responsible for the maps, that is for TeleAtlas
Besides that, you also have Navteq, Digital Globe and Europa Technologies and these also supply for Google Earth.

Recently the new DVD is out for Europe so it should be a bit more up to date, but at least expect the mapdata to be a year or 2 years behind in data

As for the US maps, these haven't been updated as far as I know.
But I always like information on California, so thanks for that
