I bought a Go Live 1005 a couple of days ago.
I have updated it to the latest software and maps:
App 10.501.739168.74 (0) (2042, 9/8/2011), OS 714611
GPS 2.16.201 88313 , Boot 569469
Map: 'Europe' v875.3611, Release date 7/2011
Language: English UK
If I go to Services->Google Local Search,
Select Search in city
City: Cambridge
Local Search for: Chinese Restaurant
I get "One moment please" followed by a red bordered screen
"TomTom Services
Could not establish a wireless data connection"
If I click the Continue button at the bottom right, the screen changes to a red border with the message
"TomTom Services"
If I click the continue button at the bottom right of this screen
it turns light blue and nothing happens.
At this point the Go Live 1005 is hung and the only solution is to push the power button for 20 seconds to force a reboot.
Has anyone else seen this problem?
