TomTom Go for Android
Has been working fine until recently. Now shows -- or gets stuck on 30, giving me a warning whenever I go over 30 despite the actual speed limit. Other apps are using GPS just fine.

I've tried clearing all data in the app and setting it up again. Worked briefly then back to same problem...

No, why? What is that a sign of?
It does not have a satellite connection (as per below) it should be blue.

It has a satellite connection not least because it reminds me every time I exceed 30MPH :-(

Can't you tell us if it's blue or gray?

The speed limit remains stuck at 30, is it on all roads or on certain roads?

Have you tried deleting the app then reinstalling it.

I usually use it in overlay mode, so there's no map/location icon. I will go look next time I'm out.

It shows 30 or '--'.

Not uninstalled (will do thet next). I have cleared data which is an -as-intstalled condition, but will re-install in case the app's become corrupt.

Ok, so the icon DOES go grey, but the speed is STILL tracked so it seems GPS is still working. Tried a complete app reinstall too. Any idea how to fix this?

BTW one of the apps that still works correctly is the main TomTom Android app, so this does seem to be a problem with Amigo specifically...

You explain to them what is happening.

I've had similar problem. I've determined that if AmiGo is started in overlay mode it doesn't update location. If I close and restart in full screen mode it updates ok. Seems there is a bug when starting in overlay mode, but it's not obvious the alerts and speed limits aren't working, so could end up missing a camera etc

Even that doesn't work for me, sadly
The application had a bug at the beginning of the week, my navigation icon was blue since yesterday and the icon had turned gray so Amigo no longer receives the satellites.

But it IS able to display speed, that requires GPS. Odd...

Mine shows the speed limit but not my speed. I use it in overlay mode over Google maps and my current speed is shown on there so definitely a bug with the Amigo app.

I haven't tried opening if full screen mode so will give that a go and update you

In full screen mode the icon is grayed out and blocked at your home location.

Perversely, as I open the app full screen it starts blue and changes to grey a few seconds later.
