Speed camera update wont go away !

I get an update for speed cameras virtually every day when i switch my 550 on - i tick update and off it whirls and it comes up with your Tom is upto date after 10 mins ish but a few days later it reappears - its 7.67 mb - what am i doing wrong - updating with power connected but not through computer

Normally the radars are updated twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday.

I am getting this. I updated on Friday, today then I get a message when I shut down to update before my next trip. I look for the update but it says that the device is up to date. I have tried connecting it to a computer, but it still doesn't stop the constant request to update.

If you have updated the speed cameras which are installed on the GPS, ignore the new update notifications.

That is all well and good, but why is it telling me to update?

I did the software update ( not speed camera ) one and hoord that would clear the bug - clearly it happens more regularly than I thought - it’s always about 7.6 mb - last year on my big trip it kept saying the satnav would shut down in a minute and it did repeatedly - next time I will disable the sync as advised by one of your colleagues

If it is a software version have you checked which version is installed on your GPS
The latest software version for rider 550 is 24.101.0002.
