Unclear about your question as regards "A". Are you saying that with the latest release of AA, AmiGO isn't functional?

In the evening AmiGO was back, but "Samsung Music" was missing. This version is probably unstable.

It has been a long time since I had apps disappearing in Android Auto, but at that time the workaround was to enable "unknown sources" in developer settings.

Go to Android Auto settings, tap the version number 10 times, enable developer settings in the upper right, and enable "unknown sources".

Or just wait a week and often Android Auto or the app developer end up fixing things via an update.
