(Yet Another TomTom Newbie)
I had an Averatec Voya 350 go bad on me one month out of warranty and so picked up a refurbished TomTom One New Edition (according to the credit card-like item in the box). So far I give it more positives than negatives but it's been close. The unit didn't want to turn on a few times, but a paper clip reset seemed to resolve that. I'm getting used to the displayed information and maps and mapping algorithms, but I've resolved to just readapt to the TomTom. I love the customability and the ability to upgrade, neither of which the prior GPS had. I created a new splash and suspend/antitheft screen (seen in the appropriate forum).
I have been confused by the various TomTom One units. How can I tell definitively which one I have, or am I correct when I say it's a TomTom One New Edition (as opposed to the 3rd edition, etc.)?
