xxltm 540 user guide

I received an xxl540tm world travel edition for Christmas. The user guide in the box appears to be inadequate. I searched the TomTom website for a user's guide for the xxl540. None was listed--there was one for the xxl550. It does seem to have more detail that in the pathetic guide included in the box. Will it work for my unit?

Dumb, eh?

It's pretty much the same model except the 540 has text to speech (computer voices).
