XXL 550 GPS issue after last update; and can no longer update Western USA & Canada Map.

I updated my XXL 550 to the latest QuickGPSfix on 3/17/2025. I was using the latest version of TomTom Home available at that time, on MacOS 12.7.6.

I tried using my device for the first time after that update today, and it couldn't connect to GPS.

I restored everything from the last backup, after which the GPS worked. Anyone else have this issue?

Also, the USA, Canada & Mexico Map is too big to fit on my device. I used to be able to instead download the Western USA & Canada Map, which is on my device now, but that option is no longer available. [Here's the procedure I used to use:

Is there a way to obtain the current Western USA & Canada Map?

Your XXL 550 only has 2 GB of internal memory.
Installing a 2481 GB map is not possible.
If it's not possible to install US or Canadian maps separately on TomTom Home, I think your GPS has reached its limits.
