should installing to internal memory take hours?
Setup instructions were terrible. Update functionality nonexistant. Finally I got the most current map uploaded after several hair pulling failures. Now I am praying to got that the big blue line will go all the way without telling me "you screwed up by disconnecting your device".....when I did no such thing

The 540 is only usb 1.1 compliant, not 2.0. So expect read/writes to take a greater amount of time.

• Connect directly to the USB port(s) on your computer, not a hub or your keyboard.
• Use a wired, not wireless, internet connection to reduce the possibility of download errors.
