XXL 540 TM "Route Cleared" Question

I have two XXL 540 GPS devices. When I clear the route from one of them I hear the audible message say "route cleared". I have the exact same settings on the 2nd GPS but when I clear the route there is no voice that says "route cleared". I prefer to have it off. The volume is up and the sound is turned on on both units.

Any reason why this is?

Try Change Voice and as you go through the option screens, see if the 'Read Aloud Warnings' is checked on one unit and not the other.
