After the recent update of the TomTom software, I've noticed that my TomTom reboots frequently on its own.
This mostly happens when I first turn the unit on when I get in the car.
I figured out that if I unplug the car charger/traffic device from the outlet, then it boots fine.
Once it is up and running and has acquired a satellite signal, then I can safely plug the charger back into the outlet. It then recognizes the traffic unit and functions fine.
Just wanted to post this in case someone else was encountering this issue.
