XL340 S Turn Restrictions

I have an XL 340 S, and have noticed that when routes are planned, time of day turn restricitions are not respected. I travel around downtown Toronto frequently where you are not allowed to turn left at certain times of the day, however the TomTom unit doesn't seem to care, and will route a left turn anyways.

Anyone else experience this, and is this normal, or should the routing know the time of day restrictions?

The time of day restrictions as such aren't built into the data for IQ routing, just as some locations only have HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) lane restrictions for part of a day only.

The best you can do if you travel certain routes the same time each day is block the turn using mapshare but don't offer to share the information. That way, you won't get routed down the street (during rush hour, say) but others can still get access to the street.
