XL-s SD card use?

Hi, I recently bought a xl-s, and some nice people here gave me the update of POIs, however, since my 1G memory is not enough, I bought a 2G SD card to expand the memory.
The STRANGE thing is, this device won't allow me to use the SD card, everytime I put the card in, it shows on the screen asking me put out the SD card, and if I don't do so, it is just so unhappy and stops working. I have no idea what to do about it, I have loaded all the files to that 2G card, but it still doesn't work.
Anyone has ideas?

REALLY APPRECIATE!!

It sounds like some files are either missing or corrupted. You said you copied everything over to the 2G card....did that include the operating system files as well?

Basically, your 2G card needs ALL the files that are on your main TomTom memory and then the additional POIS.....EVERYTHING needs to be on the 2G card.

yes, I am pretty sure that I copied everything to the SD card, at leat everything I can see from my computer when it is connected with the device.

When you say you've loaded all the files, you mean all the loose files in the root of the unit as well as the folders? And how did you load the files, using Explorer? If so, do you have Windows set to show hidden files and folders?

If all that is 'yes', try a pin reset with the card out and another pin reset with the card in.
