St Andrews Rd - Says street Andrews road instead of Saint Andrews rd.

7.15 said New York state. 7.20 says NY state.

Many prompts say turn XXXX in one mile when real distance and screen say two miles.

Says turn right when screen and real turn is left.

How do I correct problems?

Are you using a computer voice or built in? Try switching to a different voice and see what happens.

So much for TTS...

These days I just ignore her, Susan the computer voice, that is. I can't believe I bought the XLS, but thought this TTS would be a cool feature, and most of the time she is correct on county roads and such, but when she gets confused and starts to s-s-stutter, I just ignore her and follow the green route line and on-screen directions.

It doesn't take much to get her riled up! :D

FYI: The stutter is caused by using a sd card the is too slow.
I changed to internal memory or a faster sd card and stutter went away.

The stutter also can happen when you are running on battery only and the battery is running down.

Yes, The first month I had unit Susan did not stutter. Started using Dave and he stuttered. When I switched back to Susan she stuttered then. I have turned off all poi's and set voice to a minimum of warnings and they both stutter on long highway announcments.
