Wird Problem

My tom tom won?t 720 run.
I have tried a pin reset.
After the pin reset it light up I can see the tom tom picture but wont run.
It connect to the computer, update the file, but when disconnection it sat bright withe the tomtom go screen.
It is also impossible to turn it off using the button. Only a pin reset turn it off.
The problem occur after trying to install the tom tom program on my laptop with window 7
I never succeed to install it but now won?t run anymore.
Any idea.

I don't have Windows 7 but I understand from others that any programme to which data is being written must not be installed in a sub folder of Program Files.

I have sleep on the matter and I think that window 7 has contaminated file on the gps sd card.
I think the map file specially.
I cannot be restore using the regular restore on the window xp. It says cannot write over the file or something like that.
I'm thinking of erasing my sd car using a reading writing hardware and copy the
Storage card backup back on the sd card.
Is il possible to do that or will it make another compoment for the recycle bin.

Thanks all for the encouragement in finding the solution of my tomtom. Finally it lives again. The direction to the recycle bin has been delayed. The solution was verry simple and I almost trew away a perfect GO 720
