Where is the info stored?

Can anyone tell me where or what file on the tomtom 920 is the application number and map number stored? I have several saved files and I need to know which one to load back to my TT. Thanks

Go into the specific map folder (like NA_2gb) of one of your backups. In the map folder will be a file with an extension of .pna, such as North_America_2GB.pna. It's a text file, click on it to open and you'll see the map on one line, the version on the 2nd, the build on the 3rd (and device id on the 4th).

Perhaps you may want to rename the folder you backed up your contents in to be more meaningful, like NA_backup_810

Or you can see it on the screen.

First tap on the satellite bars.

On the next screen you will see a box that says 'Version'. This is your software version number.

Tap on this box and another screen of info appears, including your map version.

Correct. But the OP wanted to know how to tell what map was stored where on his computer, as I understood it.

dhn, thanks you are correct. I need to rename them with the correct app and map other than current or new.
