Anyway to have it tell me sooner to turn as driving on hiway its a little to late to make some of the turns

If the turning instruction seems late, try turning off some of the POIs you've got selected. The processor isn't fast enough to keep up with the daman sometimes. I find that no more than 3 POIs works pretty well.

Ever since the 8.3 update, I've always had a habit of gluing my eyes to the "colored" line/path on the map in fear of missing my turn. 2 times the device was late and made me miss my turn. And yes, all of my POI's are disabled.

I posted elsewhere but I'm having the same problem- it tells me 20yards to intersection as I cross it

My HOME thinks it should be next door!! I pull into my driveway and it tells me 20 yards to HOME

TomTom keeps telling me my house is 8 away from the proper location. Every time I knock on the door, they say "You again!! "

I just got home from a 40 minute drive. With the new OS I just installed (the one meant for x40 units) the device is no longer telling me to turn too late. The refresh rate is amazing, and is now very zippy through the menus as well. No more "Turn right" AFTER I just passed my street

Very funny!!!

I cured mine by doing a MY LOCATION (gps coordinates) and naming it HOME. Now it tells me directly in front of my house

I've found with some intersections, it's pretty spot-on, but not many. I guess as an owner you just learn to live with some of the little idiosyncrasies and compensate when needed. I programmed the dominoes in by grid coord. also... so now it knows where it is!! (I deliver pizzas at night- holy crap!! Who'd a thunk you'd make $500~700 a month in tips alone I started doing that to put my 7yo in Tae Kwon Do... but shoot, it's working out so well, I made ride this train for a while!!! Easiest job I ever had!!! And nice perks occasionally )

Anyway... rambling... yeah, right, so you can fix that HOME thing by loading it as coordinates.

And ya won't bug your neighbors anymore !!!
