I just ordered this mount.

What is the difference between that mount and this one?

The bigger mount doesn't look like it has a ball swivel but I could be wrong. I want the exact mount I have/came with my Magellan Maestro.

The mini one looks more like my Magellan mount but I'm not too sure. Is the one I ordered (first link) a good mount? Does it look like Magellan mount? Sorry for the noobish questions.

Sorry to get back so late on this one, but I do have an answers.

A couple of months ago, I purchased one of each from Semsons, since I regularly move my 720 between two vehicles (one of which has tricky space requirements).

Mini Windshield Pedestal Mount with Swivel-head Tightening Nut
The 'mini' is considerably smaller and its universal ball joint allows you to position the device at nearly any angle. This is the one I take with me on vacation for rental cars, due to its versatility.

Windshield Pedestal Mount with Pan Swivel
The 'non-mini' is larger (duh), but its articulation is limited to up & down, controlled by the base, & side to side, controlled by the head. However, these motions are governed by gear teeth, so it has considerably fewer actual positions. Mine, in fact, doesn't quite line up, dead-center, when placed in its "centered" position. That being said, this model is much sturdier.

I prefer the mini, but they're both good quality, well-constructed mounts. Lots of concavity in their suction cups. They don't fall off. From 123 deg F (inside the car, in the sun) to 7 deg F (today!). In fact, the only time I've found the mini on the floor, was the day after I returned from a vacation--I hadn't properly stuck it back in the car. Just a dab of water around the edge to re-stick it & it's been holding steadily for over a month.

Hope this helps, someone else decide.
